A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls, MN with Reverend Stephanie White officiating.
Stephanie Lynn Dagen was born on November 24, 1964 to Merle and Alice (Lieberg) Dagen in Thief River Falls, MN. She attended school in Thief River Falls and graduated with the class of 1983. Stephanie went on to attend some college before returning to work in Thief River Falls.
Stephanie enjoyed working at Digi-Key from 2003 to 2020 as a packaging clerk. You could also see Stephanie's smiling face while she worked at local retail establishments such as Lori's Hallmark, JC Penny's, Super One, and the Dollar Tree.
In her younger years, she was an active participant in her local 4-H club, loved to bake and sew, and shared her talents with friends and family. Stephanie was an avid reader of mystery and romance novels, a collector of recipe books, and a loyal fan of the Hallmark Movie Channel. Her favorite holidays included Halloween and Christmas and the celebrations that accompanied them.
She enjoyed traveling and connecting with friends and family along the way.
She loved sharing stories, photos and accomplishments of her nieces and nephews. She was a very proud Aunt and Great Aunt.
Stephanie had a generous spirit. She always found the "good" in others and the "good" in everyday experiences. If you needed a boost, an encouraging word or a bit of sunshine in your day, Stephanie would gladly provide it.
Stephanie is survived by her sisters, Susan (Jerry) Alexander of Kalamazoo, MI and Myrna (Brian) Boman of Hickory, NC; niece, Amy (John) Guzior and their children Alex and Jacob of Kalamazoo, MI; nephews, Robert (Lisa) Boman and their daughter, Riley, of Winter Garden, FL, and Michael (Christine) Boman and their children, Zachary, Zander, and Zavier, of Cape Coral, FL; and many other relatives and friends.
Stephanie is preceded in death by her parents, Merle and Alice.
Memorials may be sent to Redeemer Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, MN.

Family of Stephanie Dagen . My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I worked with Stephanie at Digikey. And she is friend from high school. She was such a ray of sunshine to all that knew her or met her at her jobs that she worked at. Such a good heart and kind soul. She will be forever remembered in the hearts of many.
