Stephanie Ann Faenza passed away on March 8, 2025. Born in Hartford, CT, she was the beloved daughter of John Faenza and Marcia Bakinow. Stephanie was a proud graduate of Conard High School and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Connecticut State University. With a compassionate heart and a deep commitment to caring for others, she dedicated her career as a registered nurse in hospitals and outpatient offices.
Stephanie found immense joy in the Christmas season; her love for holiday music filling the year, not just the month of December. But nothing brought her greater happiness than the birth of her cherished nephew, Eugene. A natural nurturer, she and Eugene formed a special bond, even when visits were limited to FaceTime due to her recent health challenges. She was overjoyed to send him markers, delighting in the mischief they would bring-especially when his mother, her younger sister, discovered colorful walls and carpets in their wake.
Stephanie will be deeply missed by her loving parents, John Faenza and Marcia Bakinow Faenza; her devoted sisters, Julie Faenza and Amy Roe; her stepmother, Patricia Kulesza Faenza; her treasured nephew, Eugene Roe; and her brother-in-law, Daniel Roe. Her warmth, humor, and generous spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
Calling hours will be Saturday, (March 15), from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford. Burial will be private.
