We feel such a loss with Stephanie's passing. Although we know she is with the Lord, she is leaving such a void on earth. I (Deborah) met Stephanie when we were both altos in the New Life Singers at New Providence Presbyterian Church under choir director Jeff Waite. She was a faithful friend ever since, and my parents and I considered her a member of the family. We were so happy when she married Paul, and I was so glad to help them learn a few dance steps for their wedding, and do a little meringue at their wedding with their guests.
It is amazing how God brings people together. Paul was also good friends with Tommy Fosselli, the nephew of my dance coach, Frank Duval. So he came to the marriage with excellent references!!! I know how happy Paul made Stephanie, and how everytime he got hurt or was in the hospital, she cried and prayed, saying she could not live without him. Paul, we know this loss will be unbelievably difficult for you, and hope we can be there for you during these difficult times.
Stephanie was always looking out for others, whether it was for her ailing mother, the homeless at the church, or just her friends. She would bring her mother with her to church, and she, her mother, my mother, and I would go out to eat when we could. Even as she was waiting for her heart operation, she had the presence of mind to call my mother and I to see how my mother's hospital visit was going.
Stephanie was always thinking of others, and offering up prayers. She had a wonderful, artful way of praying that gave everyone who listened additional comfort with her words and calming manner, and her firm faith.
Stephanie, we miss you so much already.
