Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
~Peter 4:8~
STEPHANIE NICHOLE "STEVIE" GREGORY, daughter of Steve and Lynn Mullins Upton, was born September 2, 1982, in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and entered her Heavenly home on July 13, 2023, and is now resting in the loving arms of Jesus.
Stevie, as she was known to family and friends, made a profession of faith in Christ and at the time of her passing was a member of Lifepoint Church. She treasured moments spent with her church family. Even through her health battles, her faith remained strong. She gave her testimony often and appreciated the continued love and prayers over the years.
Stevie had been with Walters, Staedtler & Allen since the beginning of 2015, and was one of three CPAs in their firm. After graduating from Waynesville High School, in 2001, she attended Devry University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and then obtained a Masters in Accounting and Financial Management from Keller Graduate School of Management. She obtained her CPA license in 2012, and had more than fifteen years of experience in accounting.
On May 14, 2022, Stevie was united in marriage with Larry Dean Gregory. With this marriage, in addition to her three children, she gained three bonus children. She loved Larry and the children immensely.
Stevie loved our town. She was active in community events and loved her Yellowjacket family. She was the Secretary of the Lebanon Optimist Club. She enjoyed running, fishing, spending time with her kids and attending all of their sporting events and activities.
Stevie is survived by her husband, Larry Gregory; four sons, Nick Allen, Blake Allen and Jordan Allen and Griffin Gregory; two daughters, Gracie Gregory and Eden Gregory, all of Lebanon, MO; her parents, Steve and Lynn Upton of St. Robert, MO; one brother, Jeremy Garrard and his wife Letricia of Lebanon, MO; one sister, Maggie Wait and her husband Rueben of Fair Grove, MO; grandmothers, Wiltrud Durbin, Virginia Upton and Yvonne Mullins; granddaughter, Kaylynn; grandson, Cameron; step-grandfather, Stuart Klingensmith; nieces and nephew; other relatives and countless friends.
Those preceding her in death are two grandfathers, Rodolph Mullins and Leland Upton.
Stevie was a warrior in every sense of the word. She loved the Lord, her family and friends, fiercely. She was the epitome of devoted wife and mother. To say we will miss her is an immense understatement. However, she is pain free. Our hearts hurt, but she is healed. How fortunate we are to have known someone that touched our lives so deeply. We must carry on her legacy through memories, until we meet again.
"He will wipe every tear from their eyes.
There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."
~Revelation 21:4~
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested in memory of Stevie to her children's trust fund. Donations can be left at or mailed to Shadel's Colonial Chapel, P.O. Box 948 or 1001 N. Lynn, Lebanon, MO 65536.
