Stephanie Marie Roche, age 30, passed away on April 17, 2025, in Boston, Massachusetts. She was born on July 28, 1994, in Stoneham, Massachusetts. Stephanie (Stephie) brought joy and light to those around her throughout her life.

Stephanie was a graduate of the North Shore Educational Consortium and the Kevin O'Grady School. She later spent eight meaningful years at Walnut Street Center Inc., where she found a second home among friends, dedicated nursing staff, and supportive program directors. Her days there were filled with laughter, care, and connection-experiences that enriched her life and touched the hearts of many.

Stephanie found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved going for walks, shopping trips, balloons brought her delight, as did vanilla pudding, and most of all, spending time with friends and family. Her radiant smile and joyful spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Those who knew Stephanie often spoke of her strength and happiness-qualities that defined her presence.

She was deeply cherished by her mother, Susan Roche; Grandmothers Reta Roche and Jean Lockett; Aunt Cathy Lockett and her partner Carl Long; Aunt Barbara and Uncle Ricky Roche, and Uncle Kenneth Roche; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Stephanie was predeceased by her father, Donald Roche, and Grandfathers Frederick Roche and William Lockett.

Throughout her life, Stephanie was also surrounded by unwavering love and support from many friends who held a special place in her heart.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to Paula Thompson, Kimberly Anderson, Natalia Gonzalez, and Ruta Sebhatu for their love and devotion over the years.

May Stephanie's bright spirit continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.

A celebration of life will be planned for a future date to honor Stephanie's memory.
