Stephanie Lin Stoddard

Stephanie Lin Stoddard, 59, of Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away unexpectedly in her hometown, surrounded by the people and the place she loved most.
Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Stephanie lived a life full of quiet creativity, curiosity, and deep compassion. A voracious reader, crossword enthusiast and an exceptionally bright spirit, she was always curious about others and learning about various subjects. Her extraordinary talent for cross-stitching earned her numerous awards over the years, but more than the recognition, she cherished the friendships she built through the classes and gatherings she attended with others who shared her passion for the craft.
Stephanie had a heart that knew no limits when it came to love-especially for animals. Whether she was caring for a family pet or advocating for the welfare of all creatures, her gentle touch and nurturing soul reflected the kindness she showed to everyone around her.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Robert Lowell Stoddard and Linda K. Stoddard, and the cherished sister of Robert Alexander Stoddard (Leanna Stoddard), Kriste Colton (Brian Starr), and Jennifer Stoddard. She was also a loving aunt to her niece and nephews, who she loved more than they ever knew. Stephanie's family was her anchor, and she was fiercely protective of those she loved. Her generous heart, warm giggle, and "mama bear" devotion will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
Stephanie's happiest moments were spent with family and friends-taking drives to see our Utah beauty, enjoying a family meal with shared laughter, hanging out and watching a movie, or finding joy in life's small, meaningful details. Her sweetness, loyalty, and light will be carried forever in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
