Tony Marco Olivas, 53, passed away on October 11, 2025, in Lehi, Utah. He was born on July 21, 1972, in Green River, Wyoming, to Manuel Raul Olivas and Joan Carolyn Aaron. He married Alejandra Rangel, and they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Jordan River Temple on July 22, 1995.
Tony spent his childhood in Las Cruces, New Mexico, where he was lovingly referred to in his mother's diary entries as her "lap baby." He was known as a kind and gentle boy who adored his siblings and was often considered the best-behaved of the six children. He attended Oñate High School, where he formed lifelong friendships that endured until his passing. Charismatic and outgoing, Tony was elected Student Body President and was known for being the life of the party.
After high school, Tony served a mission in the Dominican Republic, where he learned Spanish and shared the gospel with countless families. His impact was lasting-many still remember his kindness and dedication. Tony carried the missionary spirit with him throughout his life, always eager to share his faith with those around him.
Following his mission, Tony attended Brigham Young University, where he met the love of his life, Alejandra. After just one month of dating, they knew they were meant to be together and were sealed in the Jordan River Temple.
Tony and Alejandra welcomed their first daughter, Bianca, in September 1996. He graduated from BYU in April 1998 with a Bachelors in Business and Finance and a minor in Spanish, and together they built a beautiful family, welcoming three more children-Vanessa, Maya, and Marco-between 1998 and 2004.
Over the years, Tony and his family lived in several states, including New Mexico, Arizona, North Carolina, Florida, and Utah. Tony worked as a Mortgage Loan Officer for various banks across the country. He had a passion for cooking, cherished time with the family pets, and found joy in spending time with his children. He and Alejandra shared a love for exploring new places, trying different restaurants, and were always on the lookout for the next big adventure for their family.
Later in life, Tony became dedicated to improving his health and discovered a new passion for fitness through the F3 group. This lifestyle change brought him fulfillment and a renewed sense of purpose. He actively participated in community service, including a notable effort aiding the 2024 flood victims from Helene in North Carolina by helping pilot planes over affected areas.
Tony is survived by his beloved wife, Alejandra Olivas; his children, Bianca Duffin, Vanessa Feletoa, Maya Seegmiller, and Marco Olivas; and his cherished grandson, Theodore Ray Duffin.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Raul Olivas and Joan Carolyn Aaron.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Jordan Willows 10th Ward for their unwavering love, support, and service during this difficult time. We also wish to express our deep gratitude to the F3 group, whose support and brotherhood profoundly impacted Tony's life. Through F3, he found renewed purpose, strength, and lasting friendships that brought him immense joy. A special thank you to the compassionate staff at Holy Cross Hospital – Mountain Point for their care and kindness in our time of need.
