ALEXANDRIA, IN – Stephen R. Bourff, 77, entered peace and rest from his daughter's residence in Fort Wayne following a brief illness on Sunday, July 20, 2025.

He was born in Elwood. Indiana on September 11, 1947, to Raymond and Norma (Tamsett) Bourff and has resided in Alexandria for the past 14 years. He was a graduate of Harrison Township High School-Class of 1965. Steve worked for Westinghouse, formerly of Muncie for 25 years. More recently, he was employed by Ipower Technologies of Anderson. He attended the Cornerstone Community Church of Alexandria. He had a great interest in antiquities, especially old cars which he enjoyed refurbishing. Steve also enjoyed short road trips in the area. He was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts.

Survivors:

2 Daughters-Shelly (Brian) Cox of Fort Wayne, Tamara (Tom) Gray of Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Grandson-Wesley (Jordan) McCord of Leo

2 Granddaughters-Courtney Markulik and Tiffany Gray

5 Great-Grandchildren

1 Great-Great Grandchild

Nieces and Nephews

Special friend and companion of 39 years-Debbie Hueston and her son James Hueston

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, his sister and brother-in-law Vicki and Fred Burke, a brother and sister-in-law-Danny (Betsy) Bourff

Simple cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Owens Funeral Home in Alexandria. Interment of Steve's cremains will take place in Park View Cemetery in Alexandria at the convenience of the family.
