Stephen J. Erichsen

Stephen J. Erichsen, 63, of Teaneck, NJ, passed away at home unexpectedly on October 9, 2024. Steve's loving spirit is carried on by his most treasured companion and partner in crime, Maria, dear brothers Tom, his wife Jennifer, John his wife Maria, and former wife Carrie. Stephen was a cherished uncle to Elizabeth, William, Samantha, Sarah, Tommy, Johnny, Marc and Micheal.
Stephen was born and raised in Haworth, NJ to Mary Ann (née Smirt) and John C. Erichsen. He attended Haworth Public School and Northern Valley Regional High School Demerest NJ, Class of 1978.
As master builder and craftsman Steve passionately built many custom homes throughout the Tri-State area as a testament to trade and incomparable skill.
Stephen made the most of life, his loss will be greatly missed by his family and friends as he reunites in Heaven with and the spirits and souls of his family, friends and faithful dog Shadow in the forever.
Memorial Visitation Thursday, October 24th, 3:00 – 7:00 PM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont. Funeral Mass Friday, October 25th, 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, 102 Park Street, Haworth. Stephen's cremains will be interred at Rockland Cemetery, 201 Kings Highway, Sparkill, NY.
