Stephen Glenn Hancock

Stephen Glenn Hancock, age 70, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at his home of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Crawford officiating and burial to follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until the service hour at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 12, 2026. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.

Stephen was born in Michigan on June 4, 1955, the son of Mary Irene Bivins Hancock of Hopkinsville, KY and the late Glenn William Hancock. He worked at Sisk Motors and Christian County Bus Garage as an auto mechanic and then later in life worked in security. He had previously attended Life Tabernacle Church. His passions included fishing, camping, UK and building and racing race cars. He was an amazing guitarist. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by wife, Cindy Alverson Hancock along with his sisters, Melissa "Missy" Hancock Grubbs, Kimberly Diane Hancock, and Teresa Hancock Harris.

In addition to his mother, Mary Irene Hancock of Hopkinsville, KY; he is survived by his sisters, Karen Hancock Cantrell and Janice Hancock Knight of Hopkinsville, KY; several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
