Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife of 28 years, Anjanette Johnson; brother, Norman Johnson; daughter, Rachel Furgerson, sons, Andrew Edwards, Jesse (Angie) Johnson, Jacob (April) Johnson; grandchildren, Cameron, Caitlyn, Carrie, Ryan, Corey, Paisley, Ashley, Kayla, David, Monroe, Wesley (Samantha), Pheonix, Mack, Bailey; great-grandson, Hayden; his bestest friends, Danny Brown, Dan Bowman; as well as so many other loving friends and family.
Alan was a man who was full of laughter, fun, and love. He never met a stranger and was beloved by all who knew him. In his younger, and older years, he was truly the life of the party. Alan was the true definition of a family man and was the most loving "Papa" to his grandchildren, and devoted husband to Anjanette. Her happiness in life came before all else. He was a man of the Lord; he and Anjanette have been members of Union Grove Baptist Church for 30 years. If he wasnt with his family, he could always be found enjoying a good Georgia game, hunting, or fishing. Alan lived life to the fullest and his energy for life will be truly missed.
Memorial Services will be held at 4:00PM on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Union Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00PM until 4:00PM at the church. The family asks for casual attire, specifically Georgia Bulldogs or camouflage.
