Stephen DeeVoy Lammert, known affectionately to his friends and family as Steve, passed away on Sunday, the 28th day of July 2024, at the age of 50. He was born on the 10th day of August 1973, in Salt Lake City, Utah to parents Robert Lammert, Jr. and Marsha Beevers. Steve was a beam of light in the lives of those who knew him, always ready with a joke and a smile that could light up any room.
Steve's early years were characterized by a deep appreciation for the great outdoors, a passion that would remain a significant part of his life. The mountains of Utah provided a backdrop for countless adventures, where he could often be found hunting, fishing, and camping. Steve's love for nature was only matched by his enthusiasm for anything that could race across land or trail. Cars and dirt bikes were not just hobbies but extensions of his adventurous spirit.
Those who had the pleasure of knowing Steve will fondly remember him as the quintessential jokester. He had an uncanny ability to lighten the mood with his humor, often playfully picking on those he held dear, ensuring a smile was never far from their faces. His friendly demeanor meant strangers became friends quickly, and friends became family.
Steve's life was rich with the love of his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert "Butch" Lammert, a man who had greatly influenced his life. His legacy of laughter and love continues through his devoted mother, Marsha Lammert; his cherished grandmother, Shirley Lammert; his beloved sister, Kristy Wright, and her husband Jamey; his brother, Robert Lammert, III; as well as his adoring nieces, Kerriann Howell, Gabby Gatica, Haley Landes, and Baili Gomez; and his nephews, Deven Lammert, Nolan Landes, and Chase Wright, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Each of them will carry forward memories of Steve's funny and friendly nature, and his adventurous soul will continue to inspire them in all their endeavors.
