Stephen Charles "Nap" Ledet, 62, a native and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023 after a short battle of cancer.
A visitation will be held in his honor on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Samart Funeral Home, located at 4511 West Park Avenue, Gray, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. with memorial services to follow. Burial will follow at St Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux, Louisiana.
He is survived by his mother, Lena Rose Bilello Ledet. Siblings, Cindy Parro (Richard), Kerry Ledet (Monique), Renee Hebert (Todd), Kermit "Boogie" Ledet, Jr. (Karen) and Alison Johnson (Paul). He has also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Kermit P. Ledet Sr.; maternal grandparents Bessie Rita and Charlie Bilello; paternal grandparents Philip and Eunice Ledet, and a loving friend Mona "Fuzz" Benoit.
Steve was a beautiful kind soul with a huge heart. He loved and celebrated life. He was a stranger to no one. May the Lord befriend him just as Steve befriended so many in his lifetime.
