Stephen Scott MacIntyre

Steve MacIntyre passed away peacefully at his home on March 4, 2024, he had just turned 70 years old. Steve attended Ipswich High School where he met the love of his life Pat, the couple married and resided in Ipswich for the remainder of his life.
They raised their 2 boys in Ipswich, which they considered the happiest time of their lives. He started his career as a painter at Beverly hospital, later forming his own company, MacIntyre and Sons Painting. He moved on to work at Zodiac Paint in downtown Ipswich, Mullin Management, then retired from Spaulding hospital as their facilities manager.
Steve loved watching his boys participate in sports and was always involved in the background. He was a past president of the Ipswich football boosters and could always be seen cooking burgers and dogs in the football "snack shack". Steve loved anything involving the beach, he and Patti walked countless miles on Cranes beach searching for sand dollars and shells. Later in life he had 4 amazing grandchildren, whom he spent as much time with as possible. Nothing in the world brought him more joy than the time he was able to spend with them. When Steve retired, he loved playing golf with his favorite brother-in-law Chuck, and boating on weekends with his family.
Steve was predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Evelyn MacIntyre, and his brother Tommy, all of Ipswich. He is survived by his loving Wife; Pat, and his 2 sons; Tory and Tim. Steve also has 2 wonderful daughters-in-law; Jen and Laura, and 4 grandchildren; Violet, Miles, Charlie, and Giselle. He is also survived by his favorite sister-in-law; Paula Bishop, his friend; bug Larochelle, and favorite cousins; Tom and Julie MacIntyre.
