Stephen McGee Obituary
Stephen was a fun-loving and hardworking individual. He dedicated many years of his life driving students to school (Lehane's Bus Services) and was well-liked by all the students he transported. Regardless of the weather conditions, Stephen ensured that the students reached their destinations safely. He was also known as a Citizens Band radio fanatic, using the handle "Delaware 88."
He is survived by his sister, Darlene Davis of Mount Vernon, New York, and brother, Glen Davis of Middletown, Delaware. Additionally, Stephen is survived by his Godson, Jamir Simmons of Dover, Delaware, and four children whom he raised as his own Shenell Johnson (step-daughter), three grandchildren, Kwine, and Nakisha Smith, and Benjamin Quartman all of Wilmington, Delaware.
Stephen was proceeded in death by his parents, Russell McGee and Dorothy McGee-Smith, as well as two brothers, James (Jimmy), and Tyrone (Ty) McGee.
Stephen attended Robert Fulton Elementary, George Washington Junior High School in Mount Vernon, NY. and graduated from DeLaWarr High School (Class 1976) in New Castle, Delaware.
Stephen worshipped at the Church of God of Prophecy.
