Stephen Patrick Obituary

CANFIELD - Stephen N. Patrick, 67, died Friday, April 11, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman surrounded by his loving family.

He was born July 22, 1957, in Youngstown, the son of Stephen and Sophie Skrzynski Patrick.

Stephen was a 1975 graduate of Chaney High School.

He devoted many years to the construction and excavation industry, owning and operating Stephen Patrick Construction and Excavation, where he not only built structures but also strong relationships within the community.

His love for life extended beyond his professional endeavors. Stephen enjoyed summers at Geneva on the Lake and Indian Rocks Beach, Florida, where he reveled in boating, fishing, and water skiing during his younger years. He also found joy on the golf course, where he cherished time spent with friends and family.

A man who dedicated his time to helping others, Stephen served as a past president of the National Hemophilia Foundation Northern Ohio Chapter, contributing to a cause close to his heart.

Stephen is survived by his beloved wife, the former Elizabeth "Beth" Blank, whom he married on November 7, 1980. Together, they raised two sons, Stephen R. "Bobby" (Lauren) Patrick of Canfield and Sean (Alyssa) Patrick of Boardman; grandchildren, Rowan and Reagan Patrick; mother-in-law, Martha Blank of Warren; sisters-in-law, Mary Kay (Ken) Vassis of Vienna and Maureen (Kevin) Helm of Dewitt, Michigan; and brother-in-law, Michael (Belinda) Blank of Warren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home - Austintown Chapel, located at 4303 Mahoning Ave, Youngstown, Ohio.

Prayers will begin Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 1:15 pm, at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 pm at St. Christine Church, 3165 S Schenley Ave, Youngstown, Ohio.

The family's requested that material tributes taketh form of donations to the Boardman Professional Firefighters, Local 1176 Scholarship Fund, PO Box 3831 Boardman, OH 44512.
