Obituary of Stephen William Podmore
Entered into eternal rest Tuesday, 02/22/2022, Mr. Stephen William Podmore of Columbia's Rosewood neighborhood.
Mr. Podmore was born April 1,1960, in Staten Island, NY, a son of the late William Joseph Podmore and the late Carolyn Jean Holder Podmore. He was a 1977 graduate of Wando High School and attended the College of Charleston. He was retired from the US Civil Service as Directorate of Emergency Services at Fort Stewart, GA, and was employed as a realtor for Coldwell Banker, Inc.
Surviving Mr. Podmore are three brothers, Mr. Mark Podmore (Robert King) of West Columbia, SC, Mr. Scott Podmore of Awendaw, SC, Mr. Christopher Podmore (Marty Phillips) of Hanahan, SC; his longtime companion, Mr. Elder Aguilar of Columbia, SC, three nieces, Mrs. Rosemary Williams (Mark) of Charleston, Mrs. Heather Wood (Timothy) of Truro, Cornwall, UK, and Mrs. Angela Grant (Casey) of Columbia, four great-nephews, three great-nieces and his three companion animals, Tee, Harley and Hunter.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 12:00 NOON at Reservoir Hall at Eagle Landing, 1601 Eagle Landing Blvd, Hanahan, SC.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stephen's honor to Buddy Love Rescue Group, c/o Sheryl Duncan, 1800 Lucknow Road, Camden, SC, 29020, or to the Buddy Love Account at Camden Veterinary Clinic at 803-432-3061.
