Stephen Alan Reine

Stephen Alan Reine passed away at his residence surrounded by family on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at the age of 70. He was born in Monroe, LA, grew up in Metairie, LA and resided in LaPlace for the past 45 years. Stephen was a 1972 graduate of East Jefferson High School. He attended University of New Orleans for Civil Engineering before going to work building bridges. Stephen was the owner of Oak Transport Service until retirement in 2021.
Beloved husband of 36 years to Julie Marks Reine. Loving father of the late Jason and Rachel. Grandfather of Ciara and the late Joshua. Great-grandfather of Jason James. Son of the late Joseph Reine and Martha Anne Saurage Reine. Brother of Valerie Clark (Rick), Gregory Reine and the late Julie Anne Reine. He is survived also by his niece, Lindsay Sellars, who he raised as a daughter and many other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Hwy, LaPlace on Thursday, December 19, 2024. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am. – 11:00 a.m. with the service to immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment in St. John Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
