Stephen Roach Obituary
Aiken - Stephen Lee Roach went home to be with his Heavenly Father on January 4, 2022.
With his whole heart, Steve loved God, his family, and music. He worked for the City of Aiken for 20 years, closing out his career there as Supervisor of the Solid Waste Department.
For most of his life, he played in a band. He helped form the band called the Redd Rascals, was their bass player, played in a couple of church worship groups, and even deejayed as "DJ Bugsy Roach".
Steve will be remembered by his beloved wife of 35 years, Rosemary, Aiken; daughter and son-in-law, Casey and Richard Bowers, Charleston; and close family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Watson Roach and Doris Roach Jeter, and brother, David Watson Roach.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either the American Heart Association or Friends of the Aiken Shelter.
The family will have a private service on Monday. A celebration of life gathering will be planned at a later date.
