Stephen Seitz, 65, of Chester, MD, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025, after a courageous three-year battle with glioblastoma. Born in Glen Burnie, MD, to the late David Seitz and Jane Block, he was also lovingly raised by his stepmother, Macrina Seitz, and his stepfather, Gerald Block. Throughout his life, Stephen maintained a cherished bond with his brother, Robert Seitz and his wife, Pattie.
For 39 years, Stephen was the devoted husband of Charlene Seitz, who remained by his side until his final moments. Family was the cornerstone of his life. He was an immensely proud and loving father to Tiffany and her husband, Rickey, and Stephanie and her husband, Clyde. Stephen was a doting grandfather to Lilly (13), Jake (11), Mack (11), and Luke (9). His grandchildren brought him boundless joy, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
Stephen's professional journey was as varied as his interests. After graduating high school, he honorably served three years in the United States Air Force, which instilled in him the discipline and integrity that would guide him throughout his life. After exploring several vocations, Stephen found his true calling in real estate. For over 35 years, he dedicated himself to helping families find their dream homes. His genuine care for his clients and his commitment to service made him not just a realtor, but a trusted advisor to many.
Beyond his career, Stephen embraced life with remarkable enthusiasm and warmth. He adored traveling, especially taking all-inclusive trips to Mexico with Charlene and family where he could fully relax and create lasting memories. In the kitchen, he expressed his love through cooking, preparing fantastic meals that brought everyone together around the table. A natural connector with an infectious laugh, he made friends easily and filled gatherings with joy and laughter. In his later years, he discovered a passion for karaoke and never missed an opportunity to indulge his sweet tooth-a trait his grandchildren fondly inherited.
Stephen's approach to life was straightforward: love deeply, laugh often, and always make time for family. His resilience during his illness inspired all who knew him, and his optimism never wavered.
A celebration of life gathering will be held at Lasting Tribute on 14 March 2025 at 11 am -1pm located at 814 Bestgate Rd Annapolis MD 21401, a celebration of life service will begin at 1 pm. The family invites all whose lives were touched by Stephen to join in honoring his memory.
