Stephen Patrick Serpas gained his wings at the age of 63 on 1/22/2024, he passed away peacefully at his home in Abita Springs. Stephen was born on 3/17/1960 in New Orleans, he went to Redemptorist high school and grew up in the catholic faith. He began working as a teenager and eventually became what is known today as an Estimator in the oil field/pipe bending industry. He was very talented in his job which he designed projects, when it came to drawing, he could look at a picture of anything and draw it -as a kid this is one of my fondest memories. He liked to ride motorcycles, he loved food- he loved to cook and eat, Red was the life of the party. He loved being at the ball parks with me growing up and he loved football. We had so many fun times at Mardi Gras parades being on the ladder with my dad was the most fun. Listening to music in the car with him was also one of our favorite things to do, the simple things in life.
Stephen is survived by his spouse Donnell Barrilleaux Serpas, his only daughter Paige Olivia Serpas and his two grandchildren Bella Paige Serpas and Roman Anthony Caronna. He is preceded in death by his mother Rosalie Ciulla Serpas, he is survived by his father Roy Lawrence Serpas Sr. and his brothers Roy Serpas Jr, David Serpas and Michael Serpas and their families. He enjoyed the company of his loved ones, he loved rock music and being outdoors, he had a beautiful loving heart and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Date and place of service TBD will be private for immediate family.
