Stephen Alexander Sworaski, 36, of Pennsauken, NJ passed away suddenly, on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at his home.
He was born in Voorhees, NJ in 1987 to John "Jack" and Donna (Patterson) Sworaski.
Stephen was a kind and outgoing person, always the life of the party. When in school people would flock to Stephen. He loved the spotlight, always joking and fooling around. In his private time, he loved art and the world of comic books. He loved to sketch superheroes and create his own characters. He loved the superhero universe, especially Batman. He would watch all the new movies, always critiquing the new movies to the original comic books.
He had a knack for understanding electronics and new technology, even building his own computers, a skill he inherited from his late grandfather. He was into video games and science fiction. The original three Star Wars movies were among his favorites. Stephen was a smart man. He did well in science and enjoyed watching documentaries about anything related to space to the ocean and history. He loved listening to music of all genres with the Misfits being his favorite band. His dream was to one day live in Japan. He was a well-rounded person who loved his family and will truly be missed.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, John and Julia Sworaski and his maternal grandparents, Wilbur Gene Patterson and Patricia Cosgrove.
He leaves behind, to cherish his memory, his parents, Jack and Donna (Patterson) Sworaski, his brother, Chris Norton (wife, Jen) and his sister, Sarah Sworaski, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He also leaves behind the family dog, Ho-cho aka Bean.
