Stephen Randall "Randy" Thomas

Stephen Randall Thomas "Randy" of Piedmont, SC, age 70, went home to be with the Lord on 2/21/2026. Born in Greenville, SC to Reverend Edgar "Bob" Thomas and Mrs. Betty Ruth Thomas.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Melissa Thomas; daughter, Ashley Klein, son-in-law Kevin Klein; daughter, Jessica Thomas; stepdaughter, Megan Kramer; son Stephen E. Thomas; daughter-in-law Summer Thomas; grandchildren: Tailor, Maddison, Hunter, Hailey, Hudson, Charleston, Luke; two great grandchildren; sister Janice Allison and brother-in-law James Allison; sister-in-law, Doris Powell; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful canine companion, Otis.

He will be reunited in Heaven with his parents; brothers, James Thomas and David Thomas; daughter Mandy Thomas; stepson, Zachary Vaughn.

He spent 40 years working on The Motor Mile in Greenville at Sitton Buick GMC as a Certified Master Automotive Technician. After retirement, he volunteered for the Red Cross Greenville Chapter and managed the South Greenville Food Bank at Oak Pointe Church.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Northwest Chapel. Burial to follow in Graceland Cemetery West.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the South Greenville Food Bank at Oak Pointe Church, 8649 Augusta Rd., #9346, Pelzer, SC 29669.
