Stephen Turansky Obituary
Dr. Turansky was born in Detroit and attended the University of Detroit Jesuit High School, the University of Detroit and the University of Detroit School of Dentistry.
He was an avid fisherman, accomplished musician and had a successful dental practice in Dearborn Heights for 34 years. He was devoted to his wife, siblings and his children throughout his life.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Daryle Sue (nee Mansell), his daughters, Linda (Dr. Daniel Gadzinski), Carol (Dr. Thomas Warner), Jane, (the late Mark Bradley). Grandfather of Ryan Gadzinski, Dr. Jill Gadzinski (Dr. John Bauman), Michelle (Vincenzo Celani), Melissa Warner, Meagan (Owen Beringer), Michael Warner, Mark Warner, sisters-in-law Gayle (Roland Camden), Gwen (Randal Markiewicz) and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dominic and Mary Turansky, his siblings John (Frances), Mary, Helen (Joseph Gondek), Anne.
Visitation at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks, Clawson, Friday, July 28, 3-8pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, July 29, 10am at St. Owen Catholic Church, 6869 Franklin Road, Bloomfield Hills. Friends may visit at church beginning at 9:30am.
Stephen's final resting place will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit. Luncheon to follow the burial.
