Errata: I first shared a crib with Steve in December, 1945. We were 6 months old and my parents had just moved to Darien, CT. June 13, 2025 would have been Steve´s 80th birthday. Happy Heavenly Birthday, Steve.

I am very sorry to learn that Steve passed away last February. He was my first friend! We met on a "play date" when we were 6 months old, sharing my crib for a nap in June, 1945. We were friends from 1945-1956 when Steve and his family moved from Darien, CT to California. Steve left that year in October and we never saw each other again, sadly. Steve was a holy terror on Birch Road and I was his loyal sidekick. We last spoke on his 70th birthday and I reminded him that we were born a day apart. God Bless you, Steve. You will remain in my prayers forever.
