Stephen Wayne Williams, 71, of Walnut Ridge passed from this life on Monday, July 1, 2024 at St. Bernard's Medical Center. He was born October 7, 1953, in California to the late William Williams and Gloria (Faye) Yates. Stephen loved to hunt, fish, boating and riding motorcycles. He was always known as a generous man who loved his kids and his family. He proudly served in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ronnie Williams and sister, Sue Amos.
He is survived by two daughters, Leigh-Ann (Kris James) Tinsley of Black Oak, and Sharna (Bryan) Butts of Walnut Ridge; sister, Leta (Jerry) Bice; grandchildren, Ana (Steven) Elrod, Shason (George) Morris, Zanuel Glasgow, Morgan (Taylor) Layne, Erin (Tiffany Gaston) James Shantel Butts, and Tia (Matt) McAffee; 8 great grandchildren, and a host of other family members.
Stephen has donated his body to science so no services are planned.

I am so sorry for your loss.
I knew Steve my whole life and he was such a kind, thoughtful, generous man! He would give a complete stranger the shirt off his back and I have witnessed this!!!
He was such a dear friend of mine!!!
I loved him dearly!
He will be greatly missed!
