I just got word about Dave sad news indeed. Boy Omar and our group of friends sure had blast in Germany, I think! I remember our daily "meetings" at the Katterbach Rod and Gun club. If you knew Omar he was one of the best story tellers around "had to hide behind a tree to bait your hook" plus so many more. I tell his elk story on a regular basis, if you know you know. I just did the math and we were together in Germany 39 years ago! Our last time together was in 1988 when Dave Cox and I went to see him in Florida and caught a couple fish... and a beer or two. Nothing but great memories about Omar, sure wish I could have seen him one more time. Stay in touch with your old buddies you just never know. Cheers my friend.
