CHURCH HILL – Freda "Sue" Bradley, 86, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 25, 2025, following an extended illness.
Sue was born in Sullivan County, TN, to her parents, John and Sallie (Bailey) Snapp. Sue lived the majority of her life in the McPheeters Bend community of Church Hill.
Sue was a member of McPheeters Bend Baptist Church, where she faithfully attended until her health declined. Sue was employed at Alladin Plastics for a number of years as a molding machine operator, Nell's restaurant, Randall's restaurant and as a private housekeeper. Sue loved her 35-pound cat Pepper, working in her flowers, collecting jewelry and going to yard sales.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Terry Bradley Farmer; son, Michael Bradley; father of her children, Robert "Bob" Bradley; sisters, Nina Snapp, Joann Fugate (Thomas); brothers, J.B. Snapp (Ottie), John Wiley Snapp Jr. (Margaret), Elmer Snapp, Jimmy Snapp (Joan), George Kenneth Snapp (Shelby), Howard Snapp (Lucille) and Gary Snapp (Mary). Along with several nieces, nephews and special friend Ray Hellis. Sue is survived by her Grandchildren, Brandy Scott (Jason), Cody Bradley (Anna); great grandchildren, Abby Bradley, Eli Noe and Dalton Bradley; six nieces, four nephews, along with a host of relatives and best friend Nell Sawyer.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Church Hill Post Acute Care and Rehab, U.T. Medical Center Hospice Services and especially Sarah's excellent care, along with longtime caregiver and niece Sandy Johnson–Allen and McPheeters Bend Baptist Church members for their visits, cards and most importantly prayers.
A visitation will be held from 5:30 – 7:00 PM on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Johnson- Arrowood Funeral Home in Church Hill, with a Funeral service following in the funeral home chapel at 7:00 PM with Pastor Adam Hagood officiating, music will be provided by Stephanie Byington.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at McPheeters Bend Community Cemetery with Rob Hoover Officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the Cemetery by 10:45 AM.
Pallbearers will be family and friends. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Freda Sue Bradley, please visit our floral store.
