Edna Walker

Edna Walker, age 70, of Stony Point, TN, passed away Friday, August 15, 2025 peacefully at her home.
Edna was a proud wife, mother to 3 children and grandmother of 6 grandchildren, all of whom were the light of her life. She was a very caring person, who had a passionate love for the Lord. Edna never met a stranger, she had a generous heart and was always helping others. She loved flowers and her special granddog, Mac, which brought her much joy. She was born June 30, 1955 to the late Roach and Helen Barton. Edna was married to Wayne for 52 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Matthew Walker, and her Mother In-Law Sue Walker.
Edna is survived by her Husband; Wayne Walker. Children; son Kirby and wife Jennifer Walker, daughter Candice and husband Steve McMillian. Grandchildren; Kaylee McMillian, Logan Smith, Landen Walker, Reagan Smith, Emily Walker, Fen McMillian. Siblings; brother Freddie and wife Brenda Barton of Oak Harbor, Ohio, sister Sherry Horne. Father In-Law; C.S. Walker of Sheridan, Arkansas. In-Laws; Eddie and wife Kay Walker, Donna and husband Tommy Walker of Sheridan, Arkansas, Adrain and Ladonna Walker, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Funeral Officiant will be brother in-law, Eddie Walker.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 20th at 1:00 pm at New Providence Presbyterian Church in Stony Point, TN. Followed by a Graveside service at 2 pm at the New Providence Cemetery. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:45 pm. The family will receive friends afterwards at the home of her son Kirby Walker, 225 Pine St., Church Hill, TN. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the New Providence Cemetery.
