I did not know Peter passed, but noticed his home on the market. Spending years visiting him and bringing him goodies, walking down to the pond, and our lengthy talks about everything, I will miss him greatly. Ive cleaned his home, helped him when he was hurting (the neuropathy was pretty bad), and helped with software when we were all younger. Ill always love and miss you, my friend. Im so sorry I didnt get a chance to say goodbye...

He has been a long time friend and neighbor. We moved to Tyner the same year we soon became friends, sharing our love of woodworking, computers and fishing. We often went fly fishing together. I made him flies, he made me fly boxes.
He taught my children a lot, and let them help with software development. He would tell them there were big cats in the woods, and to say big cat spare me if the were in the woods after dark. One night when we were fishing too late, he remarked something to the effect that one of these days it could be his last time. Has he stepped on to land he found he could not walk.
I had to leave him in the dark to get another truck, and the big cat story kept running through my head. Pete I will dearly miss you the rest of my life.

I would like to offer my sincere condolences to Peter's family, sorry for your loss. Jeremiah 29:11, 12 assures us that God is thinking thoughts of peace towards us, to give us a future and a hope, and that if we come and pray to Him, He will listen to us. May that bring you comfort in this time of sorrow.
