Steve Bologna Obituary

Steve attended Nativity High School and graduated college with a degree in Computer-Aided Design. He married his wife, Sue, and celebrated 42 years of marriage in 2023. Steve started in the home building business with his father and brother and owned a carpentry contractor business. He progressed in the business and built homes for many years as a licensed Home Builder, principally in Oakland Township. His focus was on high quality and he never settled for less!
Steve enjoyed football and hockey and was thrilled to see the Lions in the 2024 playoffs. He enjoyed working on home projects and was also a big fan of Seinfeld and pasta! Steve liked traveling with his wife and visited 5 continents. His favorite vacation spots were Hawaii in the US and Italy in Europe. Steve's parents were born and raised in San Marino and Steve and Sue were privileged to visit there several times. As a result of his ancestry, Steve was a dual citizen of San Marino and the United States and was a proud member of the San Marino Social Club.
Steve was challenged with several serious health challenges and dealt with them with resilience, persistence, and a great deal of courage. He successfully fought disease longer than most and his family is very proud of him.
Visitation Monday, April 8th, 2024, from 3-8pm with 7:00pm Rosary at Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons Inc., (Shelby Township) 54880 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd. Funeral Tuesday, April 9th, 2024, Instate from 9am until time of 9:30am Mass at St Michael's Catholic Church, 40501 Hayes Rd, Sterling Heights, 48313 (Btw. 17 & 18 Mile Rd.). Entombment, Resurrection Cemetery. Support of the American Kidney Fund is appreciated, https://www.kidneyfund.org/.
