Steve G. Crossno

Steve G. Crossno, aged 71, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on November 23, 1954, in Kennett, Missouri, Steve was the beloved son of the late William Henry and Mary Viola Crossno. A dedicated heavy equipment operator and owner/operator of Crossno Construction. Steve was also a man of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Mary A. Crossno, and his children: Malinda Watkins (Mike) of Tennessee, Stephanie Fortescue (Guy), Steven Crossno (Sable), and Randall Crossno (Samantha), all residing in Live Oak. Steve also leaves behind his brothers, Gary Crossno of Immokalee, Arlin Crossno of Felda, FL, and Arnold Crossno and his wife, Lynn, of Live Oak, as well as his daughter-in-law, April Crossno,. He was a proud grandfather to 15 grandchildren: Justin, Little Jo, Mary-Helen, Tiffany, Jasmine, Tyler, Christin, Steven Wayne, Karen Ann, Bethany, Travis, Danielle, Fisher, Shelby, and Dalton, and 12 great-grandchildren. Steve was predeceased by his daughter, Carol Crossno, and a grandson, Joshua Peacock.

A Celebration of Steve's life will be held at the Daniels Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, with a visitation from 5 to 7 pm. His family and friends will gather to honor his memory and celebrate the life of a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather.
