Published by Legacy on Jul. 9, 2025.
Steve Anthony varo was born on April 22, 1957 to the parents of Mary Alice Varo and Robert Varo in Queens, New York.
He departed this life on July 7, 2025 in Ocala, Florida at Ocala regional hospital, west marion at 12:20 p.m.
He leaves to mourn his older sister Lida Wallace, younger brother kevin varo and youngest sister susan varo, brother-in-law, Thomas Wallace and a host of family and friends who loved and admired him.
Steve was known for his amazing love for music. There is no one who can compare with his passion and love for great tunes!
He is also truly known for his kind and gentle soul, his gentle and tender mannerisms and the way he viewed life. He lived each day as if unaffected by life's daily struggles and not quick to anger and truly appreciated the little things in life many take for granted!
There was something unique about him and his soft-spoken manner, demeanor and kindness that affected those he encountered from new York to florida.
He loved to laugh, enjoyed watching comedy, and never failed to make others laugh too!
We all love you steve and you will be deeply missed. You have left an indelible mark on us all.
May you rest in heavenly peace!
Humbly submitted by the family.
