It's so hard to know you're gone. I am so grateful of the years that we got to know each other better as brother and sister. Through all of your medical issues you were so so very strong right up to the end. I would have loved to share our fathers discharge papers from the Army. It shows he ended his service as a sergeant and he was a gunner. It shows the various battles that he was a part of including the invasion of Normandy it looks like he spent a lot of time in France. He also did receive some medals for his service. He was a strong man, generally soft spoken, and I think we both took after him in the way we dealt with our lives. Rest in peace my brother, I love and miss you everyday.
