Steven Michael Adams of Island Heights, NJ passed suddenly at 52 years of age, on Saturday, June 1, 2024. Originally from Rensselaer, NY, Steve has been a resident of the New Jersey Shore Area for more than 30 years. Those who knew Steve were lucky to have experienced his flare for life, boisterous personality, affectionate smile and contagious laugh. Steve most recently found his place managing The Wine Outlet in the Town of Brick, NJ where he successfully ran one of the largest stores on The Shore.
A longtime, diehard fan of the Miami Dolphins, Steve looked forward to watching games with his loving son Nicholas Adams. His enthusiasm for the Dolphins was matched by his affection for fast cars and his "need for speed". He also loved sharing his life with fiancé Stacy Murray and their pet dog Charlie. Steve's longtime friend and Nicholas' mother, Maria Delia has continued to also be in Steve's life since his move to The Jersey Shore Area.
Steve is also survived by his mother, Lisa Lucas, his father, Jeff Adams. brothers Jeff Adams (Kathleen), Chris Secor (Michelle), sister Tia Marko (George) and his nieces Kayla McHugh (John), Samantha and Charleigh Marko and Emily Secor, nephews Chris and Alex Adams, Dorian and Braeden Marko and Tyler Secor and Great Nieces Mia McHugh and Mia Walton. He is also survived by several cousins as well as many friends and co-workers.
For family and friends wishing to pay their respects, a Celebration of Life will take place Tuesday, June 4, 2024, 2-7pm at Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Road, Toms River, NJ 08753.

It has been one whole year Steven since we lost you. Not a day goes by that you are not on my mind. Oh! We have managed to struggle thru. But it only takes a memory to start us thinking all over again. I still find myself yelling at you for being so careless. Anyway you are always just a thought away for all of us but today is exceptionally hard. We love you and miss you and always will.

We're almost at the one year anniversary of Steve's passing and my heart is still broken as it was that fateful day. Not a day goes by without you on my mind or some memory of you popping up in my head. You may not be physically here with us, but you live in my memory, heart and soul. You were one of kind in so many ways. They broke the mold after you brother for sure. I miss you terribly and will honor you and yours until we meet again. Rest peacefully cuz and watch over us. I love you. J

Steven has been a good friend of our family for over 25 years. We also worked together as well for over 25+ years. Our prayers and condolences go out to his family and friends that loved Steven like I do. My son found out by accident when he stopped at the Brick store asking for him. The reply was shocking and he immediately called us. I type this with tears in my eyes that Steven will always be remembered by the Siciliano Family. Respectfully Carney and Samantha and CM and Ashley.

I know I was a pain in the butt to work with, but you were a great manager. Always so understanding and welcoming. The best boss anyone could ask for. Wherever you are, I hope you´re at peace.

My first memory of you Steven is when they laid you in my arms after you were born. I watched you grow into the man you became. A much loved son and brother then a Dad. You were the best of all of those. Now we have memories but it is no where near the same as having you with us. Thru good times and bad we stuck together as a family. You will remain close to my heart everyday. I will think of you everyday hoping you are at peace. I will look for the signs that you are near by. I will always love you. ALWAYS! Love Mom
