On July 26, 2024, Steven Robert Ajello, 70, of White Marsh passed away. Steven was the devoted son of the late Vincent and Roberta Ajello; loving husband of Joanne Sharon Ajello (nee Bussells); cherished father of Angie Rzepkowski and her husband Jerry and Andrew Ajello and his wife Jen; grandfather of Seth Rzepkowski, Aria Ajello and Anthony Ajello; brother of Vincent Ajello and his wife Joy, Arlene Brophy and her husband Mark, David Ajello and his wife Carol, and Sara Root and her husband Michael. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Steve was born and raised in Lansdowne, MD and graduated from Lansdowne High School in 1972. He started work at the Social Security Administration in 1973 and retired as a systems analyst in 2014. While working at SSA, he met the love of his life, Joanne. They married in 1981 and had two children, Angie and Andy. Steve was a family man and always put his family first. He had many interests and hobbies including being an avid Baltimore Orioles fan, keeping his 1972 Chevrolet Corvette in pristine condition, doing jigsaw puzzles, going skiing, spending time at the beach, riding his bike, working on cars, and being the handyman around the house. Steve had a passion for music, The Beatles and Tom Petty were two of his favorite artists. He would often play his classic rock albums on the turntable on his stereo system. He was blessed with three grandchildren; Seth, Aria, and Anthony, whom he adored. Throughout his later life his most important thing was spending time with family. Steve will be greatly missed and is forever in our hearts.
