Steven Boswell, age 59, of Brookfield, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at his home.
Visitation will be held Saturday, September 17, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home, Brookfield.
Memorials payable to Diane Mittan may be left at or mailed to Wright Funeral Home, P.O. Box 496, Brookfield, MO 64628.
Steven Lane was born on November 5, 1962, in Kansas City, MO, the son of James E. and Elizabeth Ann (Canterbury) Boswell.
Steve worked many years as an iron worker for nuclear power plants. He attended trade school and was a highly skilled and talented leatherworker, creating and repairing various leather items especially wallets and saddlebags. Steve was a jack of all trades, he enjoyed bull riding, playing horseshoes, and was a member of the Hole Lotta Luck Cornhole League, Brookfield.
Survivors include four daughters, Jessica Hinkebein of Villa Ridge, Amber Brown of Arizona, Lori Reiter of St. Louis, and Katelyn Stevenson of Trenton; six grandchildren, Jack, Carson, Cody, Deshawn, Jasmyn, and Connor; parents, James and Ann Boswell of Polo; one brother, Shayne Boswell of Polo; one sister, Terrie Warner of Cameron; fiancée and best friend, Diane Mittan of the home and daughter, Angela Browder of Purdin and Anthony Browder of Sullivan, and several aunts and uncles.
Steve was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Boswell.
