Steven Daley Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jul. 27, 2024.
Steven Daley, Jr. 39 of Holland, OH passed away unexpectedly in his sleep at his home on July 25, 2024.
Steven (Stevie) was born December 17, 1984, to Steven Daley and Terina Johnson in New Jersey. After graduating from Sayreville High School where he loved to play football. Steven proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.
In 2007, Steven met the love of his life, Jennifer. Steven and Jennifer welcomed two children, Carson and Caiden.
The simplest pleasures in life brought the greatest joy to Steven. Steven was a superhero dad. He loved helping to coach his son's football team, playing video games with his boys, working out, spending quality time with Jenn watching their favorite shows, and of course watching the N.Y. Giants.
Steven had a caring, fun, happy personality that was contagious to those around him. Steven was a hard worker, always striving to do his best to provide for his family.
Steven was so much to so many. He was an amazing husband, father, son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. Steven is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer; his sons Carson and Caiden; his father and stepmother, Steven and Michelle Daley; his mother, Terina Johnson; his stepfather, Eugene Layne; his mother-in-law, Pamela Carson; and his siblings, Sammantha Daley, Sean Daley and Eugene Layne. Steven was preceded in death by his sister, Heather Layne.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Steven on August 2, 2024 from 3pm-7:30pm at Firepit Grille, 7723 Airport Hwy, Holland, OH 43528. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to the children's education on the family's GoFundMe page, "Help Jennifer and Her Boys Through This Tough Time".
