Steven Dewayne Dalton

STEVEN DEWAYNE DALTON, age 53, of Jefferson City, TN passed away on May 23, 2022.  He was a wonderful husband, father, and friend to all.  He loved playing baseball and spent his life coaching kids of all ages through the years. He never missed an activity with his son and would drop anything to help anyone in need. Dewayne never met a stranger and always had a positive attitude about everything. He spent every day loving his wife and son as if it was his last day, an amazing man in all ways.  Preceded in death by his father, Steve Dalton; mother-in-law, Jeannie Self. He is survived by his wife, Shaunna Dalton; son, Colton “Bubba” Dalton; mother, Bonnie Dalton; sister, Sherry Hannah (Sherman); father-in-law, Jack Self; brother-in-law, Kale Self (Christie); sister-in-law, Kara Riley (Rob); several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Graveside interment service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 27, 2022 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jim Franklin officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home, Jefferson City.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to something dear to his heart, South Jefferson Little League, PO Box 1274, Dandridge, TN 37725.
