After a courageous battle with cancer, passed peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on June 13, 2024.
Born in Milton, MA on February 2, 1957 to John and Barbara Donovan, Sr., Steve was a longtime Millis resident.
Steve was a hard worker. He was a Journeyman Plumber for 38 years, working for John Donovan Plumbing and Heating. Steve enjoyed fishing, watching Boston sports teams and was an avid reader. He liked listening to rock 'n roll music and the blues.
His greatest title was that of "Pops". Steve loved quality time with his family, babysitting his grandchildren, and cooking holiday meals that gathered everyone together.

Steve is also survived by his sister Barbara Meyers of Sandwich, and his brothers Michael Donovan of Arlington, VA and Brian Donovan of Millis, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Steve was sadly preceded in death by his brother John "Jack" Donovan and his nephew Jon McKenney.
