Steven Douglas Obituary
His funeral service will be 11 AM, Saturday at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors with interment to follow at Floral Memory Gardens. Rev. Billy Hannah will officiate. The family will receive friends 5 PM to 7 PM, Friday at Kimbrell-Stern.
A native and life long resident of Albany, Mr. Douglas attended Westover High School. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Albany, and the Loyal Order of the Moose. He loved to help others, go hunting, and go fishing and to watch and cheer for the "Dallas Cowboys" and the "Los Angeles Dodgers". He was a loving son, brother, uncle and close friend to all that knew him. He was preceded in death by his father; Troy B. Douglas and his brother Troyce Douglas.
He is survived by his mother: Madeline H. Douglas, of Albany; his two, four legged "kids" Frank and Jessie; five sisters: Janie (David) Williams of Albany, Sadie Arnold of Augusta, Elizabeth "Libby" Spindler of Albany, Barbara (Bill) Jernigan of Peyton CO, and Sarah (Jim) Hall of Baconton; two brothers: Troy (Alice) Douglas of Waco TX, and Doug (Phyllis) Douglas of Albany and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends.
