You would have been 33 on Monday. That day will always be your birthday, and I will never forget it. I miss you every single day. Few brothers become best friends and actually hang out a lot after growing up and moving out. But we did. You were the best brother. You were the best friend. You made things BETTER. I love you, Steve. I love you so much.

I know I'm a little late in doing this, but I, seriously have not forgotten Steven, by any means. Though not my best freind, he was my best friend that was in my graduating class (sorry the rest of you, but you all probably know it to be true.) I remember in tenth grade, one of our teachers (though I don't remember wich one) would call us by the wrong name. I remember all the "cool points," and the "stupid list." I know that when our reunion comes around, he will be mentioned. A lot. And you know those dreams you have where you are back in high school? Those are my favorite dreams now, because Steven is always there. I guess, though almost a year late, this is my way of remembering him. But I shall never forget. Godspeed.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Edwards & David,
I love you three so very much. I took the news sooooo very hard. I loved Steven with ALL of my heart and still do. He is all of my memories growing up. He was the sweetest, most handsome guy in the whole world to me and the only guy that had ever treated me like a true princess. I loved the two and a half years that we were together. They really were THE BEST years of my life. We got back together on and off throughout the years after that. He loved me dearly, and I the same. I thought the world of him. I still love him to this day and will miss him dearly. I'm glad to hear he did find happiness with another girl. My heart goes out to her. I wish I wasn't in Florida right now. I wish I could have been there when all this came about. I wish I could be there to give y’all hugs. I need one too. I've gotten so close to God now that this has happened. He's helping me through it all the way. I’m sure He’s doing the same for y’all. I've been praying for you three, as well as Andrew and Michael, ever since I found out. I know this is extremely hard on all of y'all. I can't wait to see Steven again, in heaven, someday. My heart goes out to you Mr. & Mrs. Edwards and David. I love you. *hugs*

Although we were not afforded enough time to become well acquainted with Steve, we can say that our lives have been influenced by his and we are better people for having known him.

I was so sorry to hear about Stevens passing, he will be greatly missed by all that knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I went to school at SCA with Steven for just 1 year but like so many others have said there is not a memory from that year that does not have him in it. I am just glad that I got to know such a great person.

I first met Steve about 4 years ago when I started working at Wild Oats. He befriended right off the bat and showed me the ropes. He was one of the coolest people I've met, and definately the funniest. Its very sad he had to leave at such a young age. Even though I have never met any of his family they will be in my prayers, God Bless

I am very sorry to hear about Steven. I will never forget him in my classes at SCA, he always kept us laughing. What a loyal friend he was to many.
I hope and pray that you will find peace during this time of sorrow. All of my church is praying for you and your family. I will leave you with this scripture:
Isa 26:3, "You will keep him in perfect peace,Whose mind is stayed on You,Because he trusts in You."

First I would like to give the family my deepest sympathy. In The natural lose. and Gods spiritual gain. Good Ole' days remembering when Steven, David, and I would be playing in the hall ways and hearing Mr. Long saying "STOP HORSING AROUND". Knowing fully now why Preacher & Ms. Lutrick use to always say precious memories How they linger. when steven use to keep us laughing, and knowing one day well meet agian on that heavenly shore.

I was very upset to see in the paper this morning that we had lost one of our dear friends from High school. Like a few have said ... There's not a memory of high school that doesn't have Steve in it. I remember one year seating right across from Steve in math class. I would say "Stevey-pooh, may I borrow a pen?" or "Stevey-pooh, do you have the time?" (LOL) Whatever I would ask him, I'd always call him Stevey-pooh. He would always look at me blushing and say, "Shut up!" He knew I'd always call him that just to see him smile and blush! I'll keep the family in my prayers. He'll be greatly missed but at least he has left us with such great memories.

Steven was such a wonderul boyfriend and bestfriend to me. Words can not even begin to explain how much I love him and how much he loved me. He brought a smile to my face and joy in my heart every day for the past year and a half. Life with out him here will be tough but I know he is watching over from above and will only want us to be happy and strong. He is with the Lord now and will have no more worries or pain. My heart goes out to all of his family and friends. I hated to see him leave but I know that he can only be happy every day now and he would want all of us to be strong. Laquita and Dusty I love you guys and just know that Steven was very happy before he went to sleep. God Bless the family and his friends. He will always be in my heart for the rest of time untill I see him in heaven.

I don't think I can remember a time that Steven wasn't around. He was the one in the back ground constantly talking and causing the so called "small scenes." He was a good person and a great friend. The years spent at his work, at our school and with great friends. I know I am joined when I say he will be greatly missed.

Ryan and I were so upset to hear about Steve's passing. We adored him and thought so much of him. He will be remember by us and all of his friends as a sweet, smiling face that was always there to make us laugh and who was always such a great guy! He will truly be missed by everyone who knew him!
Your family is in our prayers and in our hearts...

Robert and I will be keeping your family in our prayers during these upcoming weeks. If we can do anything to help out, please let us know. I spent a lot of time with the kids in Steven's class and have some great memories of Steven and his sense of humor. This group of kids was and still are such a special group - this has really touched them all. We all pray that God will grant you peace, strength and courage during this time. Love, Deborah Lindley (Melissa and Chris' mom)
