Steven Gary Eley

Steven Gary Eley, age 65, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away at 3:25 a.m. on Monday, October 6, 2025, at his home. He was born January 2, 1960, in Springfield, Missouri, the son of Charles and Haroldene (Parks) Eley.
Steven was a 1978 graduate of Blue Eye High School in Blue Eye, Missouri. He worked in construction and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and watching NASCAR and the Kansas City Chiefs. He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.
On April 11, 1981, he married Robin Renee Rose in Kimberling City, Missouri.
Steven is survived by his wife of 44 years, Robin; one daughter, Amber Schlessman and her husband, Kevin, of Wheaton, Missouri; one son, Lance Eley and his wife, Anna, of Aurora, Missouri; two granddaughters, Avery Renee and Addey Ruth Schlessman; and two grandsons, Hays Berdet and Holland James Eley.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Haroldene Eley, and his brother, Charles Eley.
A visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Williams Funeral Home in Marionville, Missouri. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, St. Louis Children's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in care of the funeral home.
