Paul Richard Cottrell, age 82, of Billings, Missouri, passed away at 1:07 p.m. on Monday, November 10, 2025, at the Aurora Nursing Center in Aurora, Missouri. He was born on September 8, 1943, in Shell Knob, Missouri, the son of George Robert and Florence (Schreiner) Cottrell.
Paul worked for Wells Aluminum in Monett, Missouri, and was a member of the Monett, Church of Christ.
On April 29, 1971, he married Mary Annette Jones, in Springfield, Missouri.
Paul is survived by his wife of 54 years, Annette; one son, Craig Cottrell and his wife, Crystal, of Monett, Missouri; one daughter, Taneil Adney and her husband, Jason, of Strafford, Missouri; three grandchildren, Wyatt and Becca Cottrell and Brooklyn Adney; two sisters, Roberta Raymond of Marionville, Missouri and Retha Sue Willis of Centerton, Arkansas and brother-in-law, Bill Thurston, of Monett, Missouri.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, George, and Florence; twin daughters, Lana, and Dena Cottrell; one sister, Margaret Thurston; one brother, Lewis Cottrell and two brothers-in-law, Dennis Raymond and Phillip Willis.
A private burial will be held at the Rock Prairie Cemetery in Halltown, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of Williams Funeral Home, in Marionville, Missouri.
