Steven J. Federico

Rumford - Steven J. Federico, 63, of Thatcher Street, died Sunday, April 23, 2023 at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Lori J. (Goudreau) Federico. Mr. & Mrs. Federico had been married for thirty-four years.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Joseph and Lydia (Teixeira) Federico, he had lived in Rumford for the past twelve years.
Raised in Bristol, he was a graduate of Bristol High School where he played on the basketball and baseball teams. He worked as a maintenance director for the Episcopal Diocese of Rhode Island.
Steve was a hard worker, always moving from one project to the next. He loved his family, especially his son, whom he enjoyed working on cars with. He was always there for anyone who needed him, and was an avid sports fan, rooting for the Boston Red Sox and Green Bay Packers.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Andrew Federico of Rumford; one sister, Janice Thivierge, and her late husband Donald, of Bristol; and one brother, Kenneth Federico, and his wife Deborah, of South Attleboro, Mass.
His funeral will be held Monday, May 1, 2023 at 8:45 a.m. from Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Teresa Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
