Kenneth Federico Obituary

Born in Westerly, Ken was the son of the late Rico and Angeline Federico. He graduated from Westerly High School, Class of 1954, and later from Johnson & Wales University. A proud veteran, he served in the U.S. Army. Professionally, Ken worked in payroll at companies including Davis-Standard, Harris Graphics, and later serving as head of payroll at Foxwoods Resort Casino.
Ken was a devoted Catholic and a faithful communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Bradford, RI. He was also a lifetime member of the BPOE Elks and a proud, long-serving member of the Mount Carmel Feast Committee.
An avid New York Yankees fan, Ken found his greatest joy in supporting his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren-always attending their sporting events and celebrating their achievements.
He is survived by his five children: Rick M. Federico and his wife Sherry, Diann M. Thompson and her husband Ron, Kerri S. Federico, Beth A. Bailey and her husband Matthew, all of Westerly, and Kris G. Federico and his wife Danielle of Cohasset, MA. He was predeceased by his brother, Henry Federico.
Ken is also survived by twelve grandchildren who adored him:
Chase Zoglio (Samantha), Laura Donohue, Megan Zoglio (Gina), Luke Federico (Brianna), Alyssa Clowes (Jake), Amanda Federico, Jessica Federico, Isaiah Bailey, Sofia Federico, Faith Bailey, Andrew Federico, and Ava Federico. He also leaves behind ten beloved great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Joseph Dotolo for his dedicated and compassionate care.
Visiting hours are omitted. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 3, at 10:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Bradford, RI. Burial will follow at St. Sebastian Cemetery, Cobblestone Lane, Westerly.
Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly, is in charge of arrangements.
