Steve passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at the age of 58 surrounded by his mom, Jeanne, his dad, Charles, his brother Chris, his sister-in-law Carol, his son Mike and his dear friends, Deshane Anderson, Sabrina and Dave Hayden. He was a loving father to Steven G. Foshey, Michael (Sara) Foshey and a cherished grandfather to Leah Foshey. Steve will also be remembered by many other relatives and friends.

Steve was born on June 30, 1967, in Milwaukee, WI to Charles and Jeanne (Lemon) Foshey. He moved to Wisconsin Rapids in 1970 when his father opened a Harley-Davidson dealership. Steve graduated in 1985 and then opened Steven's Automotive. Steve's father then continued to run Steven's Automotive as Steve started Steve's Siding and Home Improvement which he continued to operate until his passing.

Steve had a way of lighting up every room with his laughter, jokes and even his silly Christmas card drawings. He was happiest rampaging around the yard with his golf cart, dirt bikes, 4-wheelers, vintage snowmobiles, vintage cars, go carts, vintage mini-bikes, all while running his hit and miss engines in the background. He could fix anything with an engine.

It was never dull if you stopped by Steve's house. It wasn't too long ago that he was building and operating an experimental jet engine. The engine was firing, and it was extremely loud. We don't know what he was going to do with it, but we are sure it would have been for the betterment of society.

We will always remember him through his passions: Harley Davidsons, airplanes, cars, really anything with an engine and also his love of the great outdoors. He will forever remain in our hearts and memories.

Steve would like to thank Medical Oncology Professor Vaishalee Kenkre and transplant coordinator Lauren at the UW Carbone Cancer Center for exceptional care over the years. Steve also would like to thank surgeon Doctor Sean Cashin in Wisconsin Rapids for all the excellent care.

He is survived by his mother, Jeanne (Lemon); his father, Charles; his brother, Chris (Carol); his son, Michael (Sara); his granddaughter, Leah; his nephews, Josh and Tyler (Tori); his longtime companion and caregiver Deshane Anderson, KaTrina, Sabrina, T-jay, Ti'ara and Lorelei.

He is also survived by special friends, Mike Pierce, Rob Guldan, Dean Schara and many more friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his son Steven G Foshey in 2023.

Visitation will be held on Friday, 26 Sep 2025 at 9:00am CDT at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home & Cremation Center located at 2201 Chestnut Street, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, 54494. The Funeral Service will follow at the same location at 11:00am CDT.

As we bid farewell to Steve, we invite you to share your memories and photos on his memorial page. Let us remember and celebrate Steve's adventurous spirit, his unwavering strength, and his enduring love for all those around him. His legacy lives on in our hearts, in our memories, and in the stories we share. May his journey onward be as daring and adventurous as the life he lived.

Steven was a wonderful person to know. He also had a smile that lit up his face. His ability to keep his siding business going while being ill was amazing!
