Fred E. Foshey, III, 82, of Wrentham, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Hope Health Hulitar Hospice in Providence, RI. He was the son of the late Fred E. Foshey, Jr. and Lillian May (Mason) Foshey and was preceded in death by the love of his life, Nancy Swift.
Born on April 17, 1942, in Providence, Fred was a graduate of Cranston High School, Class of 1960, and later attended the University of Lowell. He dedicated much of his career to electrical engineering, working for Numanco and Mini Systems in North Attleboro before his retirement.
Fred had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and found joy in fishing, camping, and hiking. A passionate ham radio operator (K1AMB), he was an active member of the ARRL radio club. He also had a special place in his heart for his three cherished dogs-Bags, Jake, and Annie May-who were his loyal companions over the years.
He is survived by his stepchildren, Joanne Gardner, David Swift, Marianne Swift, and Teri Marshall, as well as his beloved grandchildren.
