Steven J. Galambos Sr., age 66 of Haddon Heights, NJ passed away on April 16th, 2025 surrounded by his family.
Steven was born on September 15th 1958 in Phoenixville, PA to the late Rita Guida and Robert Galambos Sr. Steven was the oldest of three children. Steven graduated from Phoenixville Area High School in 1976 and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Alvernia University in 1980.
Steven began his career at the Philadelphia branch of the United States Customs Service. Steven was dedicated to his career with federal law enforcement and rose to become a Senior Special Agent with the Department of Homeland Security Immigrations and Customs Enforcement where he retired in September 2015.
After retirement, Steven continued his commitment to law enforcement by pursuing private investigation in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey for counterfeited merchandise.
Steven will be missed by his children Steven J Galambos Jr., and Kaitlin Hojnowski (Kevin). His wife Hilary Gonzalez and their children Salvatore Gonzalez, Bianca Gonzalez-Galambos and Samantha Gonzalez-Galambos, and his three granddaughters, Layla Hojnowski, Madilyn Hojnowski and Elaina Galambos. He is survived by his younger brothers, Mark Galambos (Kathy), and Robert Galambos Jr. (Charles) and his niece and nephew Ariana Galambos and Troy Galambos.
He will be missed by his friends and colleagues in his Fraternal Order of Police (Lodge 56).
Steven's viewing will be held on Friday, April 25th at 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM, Funeral service will be held at 12 PM at Mahaffey-Milano Funeral Home (11 E. Kings Highway, Mt. Ephraim, NJ 08059). Graveside ceremony at Resurrection of Christ Catholic Cemetery to follow.
