William E. ("Bill") Ross, age 86, of Limerick, Pennsylvania, husband of the late Mary

Louise (O'Neill) Ross , passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025 after a brief battle

with leukemia. Born in Portland, ME, Bill was the son of (the late) Ruth Libby and

George Clarence Ross.

After attending Rochefort American High School in France, and Winthrop High School in

Maine, Bill moved to Pennsylvania and was a 1957 graduate of Phoenixville Area High

After 39 years, Bill retired from Container Corporation of America in Manayunk. Upon

retirement, Bill and Louise were able to travel throughout North America and spend

quality time with their beloved grandchildren. Bill was then able to devote time to

service, helping to start the St. Ann's Hope Ministry, which created a volunteer network

of members to provide rides to doctor appointments to those in need. He also

volunteered delivering Meals on Wheels and helped to organize a group of former

Container Corp employees, known as the Boxbusters, to stay in touch with his former

colleagues. Bill supported his wife Mary Louise through her long battle with Parkinson's

Disease, and met every obstacle with strength, forbearance and optimism, as they

navigated her health challenges together until her passing in 2019.

Bill is survived by his three children: Lawrence E. (Diane) Ross, Elizabeth R. (Steven)

Meissner, Michael D. (Susan) Ross, his seven grandchildren - James, Samantha (Levi),
